Research and Development
Research is very vital for self growth and development. An extensive research in any area would lead to significant developments in that sector whether it is education or industry. The advancement of knowledge created through research activities can streamline and modernize the whole education system. Baba Farid Group of Institutions has taken steps to make the education research based and experimental in nature so as to mould the students and faculty into researchers and thinkers.
With this aim, BFGI has set up a Department of Research and Development which is not only making efforts to remove deficits from the present education system by well designed research activities but is also working towards the overall development of the students and faculty by motivating them to make substantial contributions in any field of knowledge through their research activities. Adequate financial assistance is being provided to the faculty for presenting papers in National and International conferences. The department also organizes seminars, workshops and discussion forums with a mission to interact with eminent academicians and noted scholars.
The Research and Development conducts Faculty Development Programs by organizing workshops/seminars/orientation programs for updating academic and research skills of the faculty. The purpose of these FDPs is to keep the faculty abreast of the latest developments.
Adding feathers to the cap, the group has established “BFGI Innovation Centre” encouraging the students as well as the faculty members to emphasize on research and innovation for the benefit of society at large. This innovation centre will provide the right platform for shaping the ideas into reality.
The college is giving special attention to the final research projects of the MBA students. The projects based on different aspects of management like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, aim to develop the analytical skills among the students and to increase their orientation towards research.
The faculty members are actively involved in participating in different conferences and seminars and other research work.
